Your PELC Staff
The staff at PELC is fully equipped to ready your child for his/her formal education. The teachers of PELC are fully degreed and each teacher has a classroom assistant. We fully comply with MSDE in completing service hours in curriculum and development of young children, thus keeping up with trends in education. Lesson plans are thoughtfully planned by staff with the domains of kindergarten readiness as the top priority.
Ms. Tina joined PELC in 2007. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in InformationSystems / Business Administration from Towson University. She was a teacher at PELC for 8 years. Ms. Tina was also a lunch monitor and a parent volunteer at Solley Elementary School and Monsignor Slade School.
Ms. Marie joined PELC in 2006. She holds a degree in Early Childhood Elementary Education from Towson University and an Assoicates Degree in Secondary Education from Anne Arundel Community College. Ms. Marie taught Pre-kindergarten in Anne Arundel County Schools for five years, was a parent volunteer in the county school system as well as a substitute teacher.
Ms. Kristy joined PELC in 2011. She holds an Elementary Education Degree from Salisbury University and a Master’s Equivalency from Loyola University. Ms. Kristy has taught in Anne Arundel County and Queen Anne County schools for 11 years. She was a also substitute at Pasadena Early Learning Center, and a private tutor for 5 years.
Ms. Michelle joined PELC in 2011. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from Salisbury University. She has been an Assistant Teacher and substitute teacher at Pasadena Early Learning Center. She was a Camp counselor for Whitehurst Community, and a classroom volunteer at Folger McKinsey Elementary.
Ms. Emma joined PELC in 2015. She has worked as a Teacher Student Assistant in the Autism Classroom at Point Pleasant Elementary School. Ms. Emma has volunteered at Pasadena Elementary School and also as a Sunday School teacher at Pasadena United Methodist Church.
Ms. Debbie joined PELC in 2015. She holds a degree from Salisbury University in Elementary Education. Ms. Debbie taught first grade for 42 years at Overlook Elementary School. She also spent over 15 years as a Psychology Coordinator/Mentor to students at Goucher College.
Ms. Andrea joined PELC in 2010. Ms. Andrea was a Teaching Assistant at Pasadena Elementary School in 2009. She was a recess monitor at Pasadena Elementary School and a Boy Scout/Cub Scout parent/leader at Pasadena United Methodist Church.
Ms. Lisa joined PELC in 2013. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education and a Masters Degree in Reading from Loyola University. Ms. Lisa is a certified Elementary School Teacher and has taught in the Public Schools for nine years.
Ms. Sarah joined PELC in 2019. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Therapy from Elizabethtown College. Ms. Sarah has taught music in school and hospital settings to both children, adolescents and adults.
