Classes Offered & Tuition Rates
PELC offers a variety of programs to introduce the youngest of learners to school. We believe school should be fun, while learning and developing those beginning basic skills: social, emotional, intellectual, physical, and spiritual. In order to ensure that our two, three & four year old programs provide a quality educational experience, we offer a curriculum that is age appropriate, creative, fun, and challenging while we incorporate different themes each month. Our low ratios ensure that your child's developmental needs are met. By the time your child leaves PELC, your child will be ready for kindergarten!
2 Year Program
Our two year program has a 1 to 4 teacher-student ratio. We focus on socialization while introducing students to learning their name, colors, shapes, numbers, & letters.
1 Class: max 12 students
BLUE ROOM
1) 2 Days: T/Th 9:00-11:30 (Sept-May) @ $295/mo
Children must be 2 years old by September 1 and will work towards being potty trained for when child turns 3.

3 Year Programs
Our three year old programs have a 1 to 7.5 teacher-student ratio. We will delve deeper into socialization, learning name, letter, number, color, and shape recognition while also introducing writing skills.
2 Classes: max 15 students each
RED ROOM
1a) 2 Days: T/Th 9-12 (Sept-Dec) @ $270/mo
or
1b) 2 Days: T/Th 9-12 (Sept-Dec) @ $270/mo then T 9-12, ext Th 9-2 (Jan-May) @ $340/mo (must have at least 6 students enrolled to run extended day program)
BLUE ROOM
2) 3 Days: MWF 9-12 (Sept-May)* @ $370/mo
Children must be 3 years old by September 1 and must be fully potty trained.
*Possible option for “Stay and Play” on certain Wednesdays if enough interest. There will be an additional cost of $25 per student on “Stay and Play” days.

4 Year Programs
Our four year old programs have a 1 to 9 teacher-student ratio. We continue to challenge students as they prepare for kindergarten with sight words and journal writing being incorporated into the curriculum. Our extended day & five day programs offer enrichment to the basic skills of Pre-K.
2 Classes: max 18 students each
RED ROOM
1a) 3 Days: ext day MWF 9-2 (Sept-May) @ $495/mo
or
1b) 3 Days: half day MWF 9-12 (Sept-Dec) @ $370/mo, then to ext day MWF 9-2 (Jan-May) @ $495/mo (limited to 6 students... designed for students who haven't been in preschool before and/or not ready for a long day)
GREEN ROOM
2a) 5 Days: Mon-Fri 9-12 (Sept-May)* @ $485/mo
or
2b) 3 Days: MWF 9-12 (Sept-Dec) @ $370/mo, then to 5 Days M-F 9-12 (Jan-May) @ $485/mo (limited to 6 students... designed for students who haven't been in preschool before and/or not ready for every day)
Children must be 4 years old by September 1 and must be fully potty trained.

Discounts
Discounts are provided by PELC for siblings and military families.
The Maryland State Department of Education also provides financial aid to families who are eligible.
